Acid Wave is a four-piece female fronted band from El Paso, Texas.The band consists of drummer/vocalist Audrey Villalobos, keyboardist/vocalist Jet Gil-Robert, guitarist/vocalist Eva Vasquez, and bassist/vocalist Isanette Olivarez. Their first album Love Trauma (2020) introduced a sonic world teaming with delicate textures, ethereal vocal melodies and chill, driving percussion. The band’s second album heart2heart (2023) is a dream pop/bedroom pop collection that centers around the joy that bursts through when we find our home in others, be it romantic or platonic.
